Juan Gipson
Shoney’s Business Consultant
Juan Gipson has been in the food industry for over 38 years. His positive attitude, commitment towards serving others, mixed with a strong work ethic, has fueled his career. He became an owner/operator of San Juan Katfish King in Nashville, TN, before joining the Shoney’s team. He has been with Shoney’s for 19 years, holding positions in store management, Marketing, and Human Resources before moving over to the Franchise Department. He studied at Tennessee State University, both in undergraduate and graduate school. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and is a deacon at his church. Juan is married with two sons and grandchildren.
Janie Taylor
Senior Shoney’s Business Consultant
Janie Taylor grew up in the restaurant industry and has been part of the Shoney’s brand since 1991. She has an extensive background on both the corporate and franchise sides of the business. Her roles have included multi-unit supervisor, Director of Operations, and Shoney’s Business Consultant. She is passionate about providing great customer experiences, successfully re-establishing financially troubled restaurants and developing people. When Janie isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Jack Salman
Shoney’s Business Consultant
Jack has worked in the food service industry since 1986 . He joined Shoney’s in 1996 as a restaurant general manager. Since then, he has held several positions within the company including training manager, market leader and recently joined the Franchise Department in his current SBC role. Jack studied business administration at Middle Tennessee State University. He is passionate about great customer service, training and development and has a track record of establishing sales and profit margin records for his restaurant. In his spare time, Jack enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
David Bhaile
Shoney’s Business Consultant
David Bhaile is a multi-unit operator with 34 years of experience in the restaurant industry, experienced in both franchise and corporate operations. David has been passionate about restaurant operations since high school. Whether it was chicken, pizza, doughnuts or breakfast, maintaining a level of excellent operations was and is always first in his mind. His goal is always the same: To help every restaurant be the place HIS family would like to visit and enjoy, with great food and great Southern hospitality. David brings leadership, focus, and character to work every day. David graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and resides with his family in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
